· How to Play

Once you understand the rules, it’s time to set up your game. Arrange your player area, shuffle the deck, and prepare your character cards. Follow the setup instructions step-by-step to ensure a smooth start to your adventure!

  1. Choose a dealer. As you can play this game multiple times, the dealer can change with each game. The dealer shuffles the deck.
  2. The dealer deals each player seven cards face down. The seven cards become the player's opening hand.
  3. The dealer places the remaining cards in the middle of the table face down (the pack).
  4. The dealer turns the top card face up next to the pack. This becomes the discard pile.
  5. The card that the dealer has turned face up determines the playing color. The color is either Green or Blue. If it is a Blue card, then Blue face cards are the starting playing color; if it is a Green, then Green face cards are the starting playing color.
  6. Moving in the chosen direction of play, each player discards one card at a time, placing it on top of the playing color. The discarded card must either match the playing color that was last on top, or the player must a pick-up a card from the deck.
  7. When all of the cards in the pack have been picked from the middle, the dealer can reshuffle the discarded cards and create a new pack from which players can pick up.
  8. The dealer should separate the top discarded card (representing the playing color) before the cards are reshuffled so players can continue to follow the last color.
  9. Playing cards that combine both Green and Blue colors on the same card are also in the deck of cards and are used to change the playing color or at strategic times.
