Adventure in Bubastis - Prologue
On the last day of school it was very hot. No trees, no breeze and over 100 degrees. Our World History teacher gave each student a blank scratch card. “Use your paws,” said the teacher , “and you will see the name of a city begin to appear berneath your scratches and claws. Try to learn more about that city over the Summer, so that when you return in the Fall, you can tell us more about your city. When Zuko scratched his card, the city named Bubastis appeared. "I thought that city is gone," he said. "No," said Jean Gray, "it is just covered by red granite rocks and stones. I can see it in my mind. “Well,” said Zuko, “I will tell you more about it because I am going to work up North with my Dad and we will be on the Nile River." “That is the longest river in the world,” said Jean Gray. "My card says Bubastis too," yelled Franklin. "My card says Bubastis too," said Jean Gray. "Awesome," said Zuko After I get I get there, maybe both of you can join me.
That is how BUBACAT began. The mission is for two cats to leave their town for another town where they hope a better life awaits them. Along the way to the City of Cats, now called Zie, they will discover anceint temple walls with cat hierogglyohs, swim in the Red Sea, and meet their student guide Zuko. They will also enjoy the Festival of Bubastis, with singing, dancing, feasting, playing musical instruments. All Bubacat players will try to win points topurchase a ticket to enter tjhe city with these cats.
After extensive playtesting and refining, BUBACAT was launched to the public. We hosted events and demo sessions to introduce our game to the world, receiving an overwhelming positive response from players of all ages. The excitement and joy from our community validated our efforts and fueled our passion for creating more adventures.
